§ — Studio enquiries

Write to the studio.

I read every message myself, usually with a cup of tea, often while the copper is still in the bath. Replies aren't instant — they're considered.

§ 01 — What you might write about

Three kinds of letter, roughly speaking.

The form below works for all of these — pick the closest match and I'll route the reply accordingly. Anything outside these is fine too; just tell me what you're thinking.

01

Commission

A piece made for your space.

A bespoke work in copper, glass and botanicals, sized to the wall in front of it. Lead time is typically four to five months.

Helpful to include rough dimensions, light conditions and a photo of the wall.

02

Press & exhibitions

For galleries, journalists and curators.

Hi-res images, the artist CV, exhibition history, and embargoed previews are all available on request.

Helpful to include publication or venue, your deadline, and the angle.

03

General

Collectors, students, anyone with a question.

Provenance for a piece you already own, conservation advice, or a quiet note about the work. Everything is welcome.

Helpful to include the catalogue number, if you have it, and what prompted the note.

§ 02 — The letter itself

Tell me what you have in mind.

The fields below are starters, not gates — write as little or as much as feels right. The message field is the one I read first.

Prefer to write directly studio@katherinecosgroveart.com Postal Studio K. Cosgrove, Melbourne VIC 3000 By appointment Visits welcome on Saturdays.
Plain language is welcome — no need to be formal.

I read every message myself. Replies usually within five working days.

§ 03 — In the meantime

While you wait for a reply, have a look around the studio.

Each work is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
